O Conselho Nacional do Café (CNC), representado por seu presidente, deputado Silas Brasileiro, realizou reunião institucional com representantes da Embrapa Café, com o objetivo de fortalecer a integração entre as entidades e alinhar agendas estratégicas voltadas ao desenvolvimento sustentável da cafeicultura brasileira. Participaram do encontro Renata Silva, chefe adjunta de Inovação e Negócios, e Priscila Grynberg, chefe adjunta de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento.
Durante a reunião, foi destaca a continuidade da cooperação em inovação, pesquisa aplicada e desenvolvimento territorial, em iniciativas voltadas à valorização das origens do café brasileiro, sustentabilidade e inclusão produtiva.
Renata Silva tem experiência na construção de estratégias de valorização territorial do café, com ênfase nas Indicações Geográficas e no fortalecimento de identidades regionais, como o caso dos Robustas Amazônicos e da Denominação de Origem Matas de Rondônia.
Por sua vez, Priscila Grynberg tem sua trajetória na área científica, com sólida formação em bioinformática e atuação em pesquisas avançadas envolvendo expressão gênica e proteômica. Em processo de aproximação com o contexto da pesquisa cafeeira, sua atuação à frente da área de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento na Embrapa Café representa uma oportunidade estratégica para ampliar o uso de tecnologias e inovação no setor.
