A fintech Culttivo, que oferece acesso a crédito para produtores de café, fez parceria com a gestora de fundos Augme Capital para disponibilizar até R$ 50 milhões para os clientes da plataforma. A startup do setor financeiro está operando há dois meses, conforme informou em nota, e emprestou no período R$ 5 milhões para cafeicultores do sul de Minas Gerais, Cerrado mineiro e Estado de São Paulo.

O diretor de investimentos da Augme Capital, Marcelo Urbano, destacou o modelo utilizado pela Culttivo, que concede crédito a cafeicultores que apresentem Certificados de Depósito Agropecuário/Warrant Agropecuário (CDA/WA) lastreados em café arábica depositado em armazéns credenciados na B3. “Com esta estrutura montada, a Culttivo ajuda o produtor rural, que consegue utilizar o café já colhido para ampliar seu acesso a crédito, barateando seu custo de dívida; e o credor, no caso os fundos da Augme, que consegue investir a uma taxa atrativa, dada a segurança obtida”, conclui.
