Os contratos futuros de café encerram a semana na Bolsa de Nova York pressionados por fatores macroeconômicos. Os fundamentos altistas, como a perspectiva de restrita oferta brasileira, limitam a queda das cotações.
O vencimento setembro/21, na Bolsa de Nova York, fechou a US$ 1,7820 centavos de dólar por libra-peso, apresentando variação semanal negativa de 455 pontos. Na ICE Europe, o vencimento setembro/21 do café subiu US$ 15,00, fechando a sessão da última quinta-feira (19) a US$ 1.843 por tonelada.
O dólar à vista subiu ontem (19) 0,89% e encerrou a sessão a R$ 5,422. Com isso, a moeda norte-americana, considerada ativo seguro, sobe 3,29% na semana e acumula valorização de 4,09% em agosto.
No mercado físico, os pesquisadores do Centro de Estudos Avançados em Economia Aplicada (Cepea) informam que as cotações do café robusta (conilon) tiveram alta na quinta-feira (19). Segundo os pesquisadores, as cotações do robusta foram impulsionadas pela valorização do dólar ante o real. Já o arábica, os valores nacionais foram pressionados pelo recuo dos futuros no mercado internacional. Os indicadores calculados pela instituição para as variedades arábica e robusta se situaram em R$ 1.038,72 por saca e R$ 649,35 por saca, respectivamente, com variações semanal de 0,95% e 2,88%.
A Somar Meteorologia informa que o tempo vai continuar seco e quente na região Sudeste neste fim de semana, o que favorece a colheita de café. No litoral paulista, a previsão é de frente fria que aumentará a quantidade de nuvens, mas não chove.
