Os contratos futuros de café arábica encerram a semana na Bolsa de Nova York (ICE Futures US) quase que da mesma forma que começaram, com cotações por volta de 224 centavos de dólar por libra-peso no vencimento maio/22, o mais líquido. Como os futuros de arábica estão instáveis, há a possibilidade de um movimento brusco nos preços nesta sexta-feira (11), para cima ou para baixo. Os investidores continuam evitando ativos de risco, devido a guerra entre Rússia e Ucrânia.
O vencimento março/22, na Bolsa de Nova York, fechou a US$ 2,2520 centavos de dólar por libra-peso, apresentando variação semanal positiva de 105 pontos. Na ICE Europe, o vencimento março/22 do café teve alta de US$ 46,00, fechando a sessão dessa quinta-feira (10) a US$ 2.233,00 por tonelada.
O dólar à vista apresentou pequena alta ontem (10), de 0,11%, e fechou a sessão cotado a R$ 5,016. A moeda norte-americana acumula perda de 1,23% na semana e de 2,71% no mês de março. Segundo corretores, o câmbio acompanhou o fortalecimento da moeda no exterior, por causa da frustração com as negociações para um cessar-fogo entre Rússia e Ucrânia.
O mercado futuro de arábica operou em baixa em boa parte do pregão de ontem (10). O vencimento maio/22, o mais líquido, fechou com desvalorização de 2,22% (510 pontos), a 224,20 cents. O mercado registrou máxima de 229,90 cents (mais 60 pontos) e mínima de 221,75 cents (menos 755 pontos).
No mercado físico, os pesquisadores do Centro de Estudos Avançados em Economia Aplicada (Cepea) informaram que as cotações domésticas do café arábica e do robusta tiveram forte queda nessa quinta-feira (10). Segundo os pesquisadores, as cotações externas do arábica em baixa resultaram em queda nos valores domésticos. Os futuros de robusta também caíram, pressionando os valores internos. Os indicadores calculados pela instituição para as variedades arábica e robusta se situaram em R$ 1.306,51 por saca – recuo de R$ 25,35 em cada saca (ou de 1,9%) em relação ao dia anterior – e R$ 746,44 por saca – queda de 0,7% em relação ao dia anterior – com variações semanais de -1,47% e -2,80% respectivamente.
